About the Accidental Festival
The Accidental Festival is produced with passion by second-year students on the BA (Hons) Theatre Practice: Performance Arts course at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. For the past three years it has been held at the Roundhouse in Camden and has become an annual opportunity for artists to share work, take risks, and present fresh ideas to a diverse audience.
The Accidental Festival is shaped by those who apply, and each year seeks applications from a broad spectrum of artistic disciplines in order to present a varied programme of original and current work. Past festivals have presented new writing, live art, film, spoken word, static art and photography, fashion, puppetry, devised work, and all kinds of performance.
Applications for the 9th Accidental Festival, taking place Spring 2014, will open in the Autumn.
